Study on Strength and Swell Behavioral Change and Properties of the Clay–Fiber Mixtures

Clayey soils are spread over large areas of the world. This soil type has numerous problems due to its low strength, high compressibility, and level volumetric changes. To overcome these difficulties, many researchers have concentrated their studies on improvement techniques. Recently, reinforcement been considered an effective reliable technique for improving strength stability by using different types reinforcing materials. paper aims investigate feasibility polypropylene fiber as a low-cost environmentally friendly material plasticity clay, assess swelling behavioral change with content determine optimum that meets rate.
